We’re celebrating a new site and new ways to connect

Hello all, and welcome to our new website.

We’re pleased to have you visit and hope you'll spend time learning more about us and the work we do.

With this website, we outline the strategic priorities of each of our programs – Arts and Culture, Community Development, Detroit, Education, Environment, Health and Human Services – and highlight the work of many of our current grantees.

You can learn about our staff and trustees, our 87-year history, and our green headquarters in About Us. The Funding section explains how we work and the methods used for grantmaking and investing. And, linked from the front page is a video message from our president, Rip Rapson.

The many photos and grant highlights shine a spotlight on the important work of our grantees. We hope you will take time to read about them too.
