Comments (0)Data shows the 'Talent Dividend' from education is a sure thing
Our friends of CEOs for Cities have fired up a video camera to spread the word about the Talent Dividend.
What's the Talent Dividend?
- Per capita income and college attainment rates are closely correlated.
- Based on 2006 data, each additional percentage point improvement in aggregate adult four-year college attainment is associated with a $763 increase in annual per capita income.
- Raising the national median of the top 51 metro areas a single percentage point would be associated with an increase in income of $124 billion per year for the nation.
Right: more than $100 billion for individuals, families and communities. That's the Talent Dividend.
We're happy to have joined with Lumina Foundation for Education to support the Talent Dividend Prize. (Previous coverage)
