Since 1978, the nonprofit corporation has revitalized distressed urban neighborhoods by helping communities build safe housing and good schools while providing comprehensive human services that enable low-income families to achieve social and economic upward mobility. Funding supports the redevelopment of the former C.J. Peete public housing complex as Harmony Oaks, a 510-unit rental and for-sale housing community featuring a learning campus, health suite, and recreational facility.
