In addition to its musical performances, the group has pioneered a collaborative business model that offers other performing-arts organizations the opportunity to share staff, office space, technology, and administrative services or receive arts-management assistance. Funding is being used to engage a consultant to scale and streamline this shared-resources model.

This grant helps to fund the Detroit Grocer Working Capital program, which makes financing available to full-service independent neighborhood grocers in the city.
